Wrote this after chowing down on some horror. Kind of contemplating why I write what I write, and how I do it, and what I hope to accomplish with it.

I'm in it for the money and ego stroking, der.

This is also a sort-of manifesto of my aesthetic of the grotesque (cooler name pending) that I think is starting to really define my art.

Whatever. I like this poem so-so, but see what you think. Tried to be more concrete and less allegorical (basically avoided teh P@g@n refs) with this one, because I KNOW that my other poetry is nigh impossible to decode, and that's starting to worry me, as much as I enjoy writing it that way.

Title meant for irony, I guess. It's not that accurate (because I write stuff like I describe in the poem all the time), but it IS what I want.
