They hunt the little sacred things
In this order, they scream and sing
We hope it's only death they bring
Flapping slow with silent wings
Shaking fearful not at all
Taking losses fall by fall
Feigned emotion preinstalled
Making such a mess of things
Moving razors in our minds
Full moon shadows are their signs
The blind are numb, the numb are blind
And silent motion hides the sting
The skies and stones bend down as one
As they still stand with hearts long gone
Undoing as they come undone
The waking death that forever clings
Worlds and worlds yielded them thus
Heaven and hell and What-Never-Was
Don't become one yourself, remember us
Nobody's home; hail to the kings

Even having never played the games ( please forgive the blasphemy!), this is supreme and can stand on its own!
